EQUIPMENT
CMS and its Coaching Staff are not asking you to buy any equipment; however, there is certain equipment that you will need to have in order to:
tryout, practice, and play. This would include the following:

- A Fielding Glove
- Practice Pants (not necessary for tryouts)
- Non-metal cleats(not necessary for tryouts).
- Game Uniforms
- Bats
- Balls
- Training Equipment (Tees, Pitching Machine, Catcher's gear)

BATTING GLOVES, CLEATS OR OTHER APPAREL- Must not be fluorescent in color.
BATS You are not required to buy your own bats…However, if you choose to do so make sure of the following:
It is at the umpire’s discretion to not allow a bat, but if you follow the points above, the bat should be allowed. Please keep in mind that any purchases of equipment DOES NOT guarantee a position on the team. See next section regarding cuts. CUTS As should be obvious, not all athletes that try out for the team will make it. Unfortunately, there will be cuts. This is due to different factors but we are primarily looking at the following factors:
